So, Steve???

Methinks if you had been as aggressive about "policing" the obvious
self-serving, self promotion of a certain Canadian asshole and his little
group of sock-puppet offspring, this group might actually have a life and
be of some value.

In the old days, you could issue a cancel message.
Those days are long gone, and the only thing you can do
now is complain to ISP/NSP. Most of the idiocy comes
from Google Groups, but unfortunately, a complaint to
their abuse desk results in an auto-reply with
absolutely no followup.
If any single thing can be said to have led to the
deterioration of Usenet, it was Google's policy to
allow any spam anyone cared to post.

As a rule, the worst thing you can do is to answer
trolls and spammers. No, check that. The WORST thing
you can do is to BUY something from them, but clicking
their links and talking about them also lets them
know their posts are being read and "generating
interest."

I'd also point out to the OP that the Superman logo is protected by
international copyrights, and it's a fine line he's walking on infringement
issues. Making a piece containing the logo for your own use is, while
questionable, probably not going to get him in any legal hot water.
Making even one for hire is a violation.

Seems so obvious it barely needs mentioning, but I
guess it does bear repeating... often.
