Aud,

Oh, what memories when I looked at the recipies. The last one was the one my
grandmother used all the time. DH and I went to a store called The
Crackerbarrel and bought some for our neighbor. Now seeing that DH and I are
both diabetic we can't try it, but it sure looks good.

Hugs,

Nora

Well, then I will chose the last recipie, Nora!
Sorry that you cannot taste it yourselves!

When I was young ("younger"!LOL!!) I was sure
that being a diabetic must be the worst that could happen to a person!
(my dream was to OWN a chocolate shop..
and eat as much as I liked..! Unbeliveable, but true!!)
Of course nobody are happy with diabetes,
but NOW I see it is possible to live with it!:-)
But I WILL try the recipie!
AUD ;-))

Aud it is going to be a short week, because today is a national holiday.
Also in most schools in Canada, the first day is a short one. Assignment
of courses and classes etc. and proffesional development days as well.

Katherine how it it done in your neck of the woods....??

Hi Aud,

Yes, it's possible to live with diabetes and enjoy life. I do cheat and have a
sweet once in a while. Another reason is I am able to take oral meds. for it
that really helps control it. But divinity fudge is out of the question, much
to sweet. Enjoy it when you make it. You can also add some coco to it for
chocolate flavor, grandma used to do that.

Hugs,

Nora
