May I join you in that glass of wine? My mouth is hanging open in

surprise.

Well I am very surprised this is the surprising way it is.
Surprisingly I say, a pox on it all. Here - have a nice glass of
wine Ruby - your surprise is confounding me.

And our dear Sheena will send them a platoon of Daleks in return.

Or perhaps a brigade of Buckets? (Kitty volunteers to help snarl their yarn.
She's very good at that.)

Puppies are pretty good at that too! There was a yell from John, yesterday
saying "WHAT have you got - she`ll KILL you when she sees it!" When I shot
into the room to find out, there was "Maggie Mayhem" absolutely festooned in
emerald green and yellow mohair which she`d stolen from a bag-full I had
packed up ready to post! Her main aim in life seems to be to steal my
spools of floss, too, so I have to remember to shut the door whenever I
leave the room unattended. She`s not really a puppy any more as she`s just
over a year old. They seem to grow out of such capers at about 18 months,
usually. She`s SO obedient when you give her an order, but is such a
curious little madam.
