MESSAGE TO DR. SOOZ OR WHOEVER YOU ARE???????????

She's calling names and deliberately trying to incite an argument, which
is trolling behavior. I am calling a spade a spade; she appeared out of
nowhere and within a short time started involving herself in minor
disputes by taking sides and calling names... that's trolling behavior,
and I think she is a troll.

VJ disagrees with Sooz ("the Queen of RCB"?) but VJ is not a troll.
Lynda disagrees with Sooz, and Lynda is not a troll. "Margarita" appears
out of nowhere and within a few days is picking fights and calling
names. She is a troll, and probably doesn't have any interest in this
group besides trolling and pitting its members against each other.

Also, Linda, other people have prevented people from being added to the

It was *MY* EMAIL LIST!!!! I owned it, I created it -- it was for my
personal use! I added friends I wanted to talk to only. I did it
during a period I wasn't on RCB, and I wanted to chat with my friends!

Oh -- that's true. I wanted to add 3 people (including Candace) and I

don't have much respect for people who won't speak their mind at the

they'll have group support to attack someone based on past grudges.

I really have so little respect for the remaining participants on this
NG right now. I wish I didn't feel that way, but I do. A lot of people
have left, and you can speculate and project endlessly about why they
left, and try to pin the blame on whoever you dislike or envy the most,
but the bottom line is that unless they come out and say "I left because
of Sooz" you have no business trying to blame her.

I *should* be gone, I am trying to minimize my involvement, but not
because of Sooz; because of the lack of unity, the backbiting, the
une-upsmanship, the petty bickering, the holier-than-thou attitudes.

into a personality parade of cliques and political maneuvering. There is
no more sisterhood, and no more ESBC: they've left. That's why those
with petty grudges and attention-envy now feel free to attack with

RCB has become a place that depresses me and increases my anxiety;
that's why I'm staying away. It's not good for my mental health.

On top of it all, most of the people here seem to have been taken in by

game; tearing apart newsgroups by fanning the flames of dispute is what
they do for fun, and he/she's sitting back and counting the replies,

Amen to the below by Kalera. I feel precisely the same way. I have
hung in this n/g because it's been a warm place. Now it's reminding me
too much of the needlework n/g that I avoid like the plague because of
all the contention and lack of integrity. Sad, so sad.

I didn't even bother reading the rest of this before responding to the
first line, but I'm pretty shocked by it. It's so, so demonstrably FALSE
and I can't help but wonder when you devloped the obvious grudge you've
been harboring.

Sooz gives, endlessly, and most people never know. I am sure you know
nothing about the many, many times she has given freely and expected
nothing in return, because she doesn't publicize it. I'm sure I only
know of the fraction of giving that has happened to involve me. She
rarely talks about her pain. She never blames her behavior on it, though
others sometimes do. I have been guilty of that, and I shouldn't because
it leaves an opening for people like you. She also rarely talks about
Kevin's disability... I'd been here for months before I ever learned
about it.

The incident on the polyclay list, which happened many months ago
(wasn't it last winter?) was simply Sooz saying that she wouldn't feel
comfortable speaking freely if the other person was invited onto the
list. (Didn't she start that list in the first place?) The decision was
made to only invite people that veryone agreed on. Later, other members
invoked this rule to hold off on inviting other people who were new to
RCB. Sooz herself is no longer on the polyclay list, and hasn't been for
some time. Why you're bringing it up as evidence of her "power" is
simply mystifying.

Most of this stuff just seems to have been pulled out your your ass. Is
it "Let's Crucify Sooz" time? Why?

Your jealousy (what is this "Queen" crap?) is evident and foolish. What
are you jealous of? That she posts a lot, is outspoken, and has many
friends? It makes you look like a very small person.

I have never heard Sooz blame ANYTHING on her husband. In the past year+ I
have only ever seen one reference to his disability. And if I recall
correctly, it wasn't Sooz that made the comment.

But K, can't this be turned around. If enough people, that don't want it
to be this way, work to bring back what it was meant to be... can't it
happen? Maybe it seems like this would take too much energy but it
*wouldn't*... not if everyone agreed to work at it. To share the
responsibility for the atmosphere...

There is just so much good here. If the open hearted supporters turn
away then whats left?

I'll do anything towards making this a fully supportive group, to stop
the crap, if others will stay and do the same. But I don't know how this
can happen without the positive presence and help from you guys.

Please... if this is going to stay a group full of hate and dissension
then it is time to quit *BUT* if it can be saved it should be saved and
I would hope that everyone would be willing to try.
