Steampunk - ON topic
I note that the lamp is still electric. Does it actually work on steam, or is this decorative? Kind of makes the pressure cooker thread on topic too! Steampunk - ON topic
Bah!
That is just a sewing machine with some pipe fittings stuck on. Check out this laptop: http://www.datamancer.net/steampunkl...punklaptop.htm I particularly like the wind-up key on switch. Then there is the wide wide world of steampunk nerf guns. My DH found out about those and now I have nerf stuff, wierd hardware, and cheesey antiqueing and faux finish kits scattered about my kitchen. He had already turned half of the room into a mountain of strange stuff, now the wierdness is leaking into the cooking zones. I may have to threaten to withold mincemeat at this rate. While the world may be saved by steam, most steampunk stuff has never seen the slightest hint of water vapor. The people who design the mods are just trying to make the stuff look like it could be a clockwork or steampowered thing. Steampunk - ON topic
Yeah, I've seen that laptop and a couple of others before. I'm always amazed
at how detailed those people can get! -- Kathy A. (Woodland, CA) Queen of Fabric Tramps remove the obvious to reply http://www.flickr.com/photos/kathyapplebaum/ "NightMist" wrote in message ... Bah!
