Default Thomasina Beck books

I finally have a couple to look at this week as I have not come across
them before. i do not know if I will buy them but very interesting. I
have the Embroider's Story and the Gardening with Silk and Gold. One
more on flowers is coming and that might be the one I like since I am
doing parterre work at the moment. Anyone feel like discussing
these?barbie

Linda Moody gave me the "Embroiderer's Story". I love it and my DMom has
found it a very good reference in identifing button and old lace. Mine
is an over sized soft cover.

My favorite so far is the Gardening with Silk book. The Embroider is a
good read but figured I would not use it later for design work so not
going to own that one. The former book mentioned I might want. I did
see the Embroider's Story cheap on the internet though . It was
around $7 so not a big deal. I have the other two coming so wondering
if they will be the same book or not. One was called the Embroidered
Garden and the other Embroidered Flowers. Would anyone know if it is
the same book? barbie
