Default You know what? Crucify me, but it's true

We've gone to your defense, teeth bared, flames a flyin'. We've been
shocked at the accusations hurled at you by those on WC.

But it's true. You *are* a copycat. You'll copy anyone.

I may as well say it, because everyone gets mad at me anyway. You may
have original thoughts and ideas, but it seems you'd rather make copies
of other people's ideas.
Look at these:

Look familiar?

How about these?
http://snipurl.com/g8pc
They were made right after Kalera posted *instructions* on
*how*to*make*them* on LampworkEtc.
Kalera's: http://www.beadwife.com/detail.tpl?ItemID=3576

Sea urchins and seashells?

Does this remind you in any small way of Dawn's goofy faces?
http://snipurl.com/g8pk

And these look like Lori Peterson's spinners -- we were saying they'd
make awesome windchimes ---

I could go on and on, but I have to make dinner.

This has been going on for a long time, and it ain't right. Okay,
everyone, yell your butts off at me. I don't care. I think it's
wrong, and I could not stay silent anymore.

Bead collectors, collect. I've been doing so for a relatively short time,
someone like Sooz, for a very long time indeed. They tend to be very
knowledgeable about their chosen addiction. I'd certainly take notice of
the discussion so far.

If you attempted to plagiarise an author you would be destroyed by the
critics and probably couldn't show your face in literary circles again. By
those standards, this board is relatively kind to it's members, with a
genuine desire to help.

I have nothing further to add other than to reiterate the points I made on
12/7 (by my time zone).

I guess some people will only ever be craftspersons and not artists.

Can you market Faux Kaleras?

You can. But you may not. You would need her permission, in writing,
and she would hardly be willing.

This is my freaking design! I came up with them several months ago.
I'm not saying Kalera didn't come up with them on her own either. It
happens.

Do you mean the "Raku Reversal" beads you referenced on LE in your
original post before you edited it?
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/...c29ca40?hl=en&

They bear NO resemblance to my set. Scrolling clear on Raku isn't a
terribly original idea, anyway; it's the overall composition and
presentation.

Steph, it is not the difference between craft and art I am now
discussing.

There are much bigger issues here than a philosophical argument, Stephanie.
The facts of the matter are very disturbing indeed and the outcome could be
grim if matters are not set right without delay.

I see now, it is about ethics, honest business practices. I guess I
didn't want to believe that. Like Kalera said, I am disillusioned. If I
saw this happening with someone other than an RCBer I would be pretty
ticked!! (I bought some beads that I didn't get either...)

Steph! You bought some you never received?!?!?

This is so WRONG.
Starlia, you are so, so lucky no one has filed charges yet.
