Remember QNM's Helen Kelley? I looked forward to her column. I even sent
her a thank-you note because her writing was such a calming, gentle read
when it was bedtime and my little mind was still racing. Give yourself
"Loose Threads". It is such a precious book.
Today, we had our teeth cleaned and our dentist told me that my teeth
looked great and so did I. I said my weight was the same but my batting was
shifting. I didn't explain that the quote was from Helen Kelley. He's not
a quilter. Yet.
Also and furthermore - if you can grab a minute to look at some crib
quilt fabrics - take a look at Timeless Treasures' "Lady Bugs". If that
doesn't make you smile, try Blank Quilting 2010 ants on red. The ants are
not scary, they have silly eyes and are bound to tickle your need for red.
If you enjoy the most bang for your buck in shipping charges, Arizona
Quilts has got to be a front-runner. Those ladies can stomp more fabric in
a "If it fits, it ships" envelope than anybody I've ever seen. My package
was creaking and starting to leak.
Still (groan) I am not affiliated but can be bribed. Now what have you
found that we need to know about? Polly

Ok, I'll add my 2 pence worth.
Looked up Footprints, on the 125 Quiltshops site, as I thought that would
be the 'poifect' fabric for DD's Hug Feetz. Price range was from $8.40 up
topping out at $10.95. Same fabric, same manufacturer. I've only purchased
from Big Horn Quilts ($8.40) from the 5 onlline that had that particular
one. Think I'll wait a while and see if it goes lower after the
Holidays....or I may ask Santa for it . Fabric has been around awhile as I
have a small amount in my stash from when it first came out a few years ago.
Will go check out AZ Quilts.....

Footprints is a fabric I love so much. I used it for all of our
grandchildren's high school graduation quilts. Every time - it was
wonderful. May be decades before they even notice . . . but it is there.
The price staggered me the first time but it has come down. Just don't wait
too long. Polly

I'm not buying much fabric these days ... trying to live a bit frugally and use what I have. I do have a tiny little bit of fabric that I can use ... okay, maybe I have a roomful of fabric I can use.

But, I'm drooling over some of the newer colors of stripes from Kaffe Fassett. http://www.batikcorneratfabriccorner...es=0&lastmenu= What would I do with these stripes?? I don't know. But I love them. They are gorgeous and just demand to be surrounded by Kaffe Fassett shot cottons in lovely colors.

And that is what I'm dreaming of right now. But those Lady Bugs are adorable. And I already have some of the ants on red. I can't resist ants.

Lady bugs are good but I can't resist honey bees for some reason.

Yummy indeed! And the KF Spots farther down the page have a weird
attraction. Wouldn't need much to make a bag with the stripes, lined
with the spots...
