Hi Sue,
I just wanted to let you know that I've FINALLY found the perfect frame
for the souvenier square (memento square) you sent me. If DH still had
his own workshop, he would've made one, so I had to shop around. It has
a prominent place in my workroom.
What kind of yarn WAS that?
Love,
Noreen

Glad that you found the right setting for it, Noreen - my square is an
appliqué motif on a cushion cover. I used so many different yarns for
the squares that I can't remember what went to whom, but if you tell
me the colour I'll probably recall it instantly - the way our memories
are stored is a strange thing! (Well, mine is anyway!)

Shelagh,
That sounds lovely. What colour was your square? Mine was a beautiful dark
green.

Hmmm, let's see if I can remember it correctly. A while ago, we all
contributed to a friendship afghan for Gemini. Sue sent each one who
participated a small (I think 3 or 4 inches) square which she crocheted.
They were lovely, and meant to be a memento of the project. If I've gotten
any of this wrong, someone else who took part can feel free to correct it.
Katherine
