Machine classes was squishie etiquette
Yikes, I hope it was Brother you had problems with and not Viking?
As Viking has policies in place to prevent that from happening. When I worked at a Viking owned store , if you could not make the "scheduled" classes ( do to work or other unavoidable issues) we *had* to give one on one lessons when you could make it ( even if that meant bringing in extra staff to cover the store ) Tina Brockport NY Dr. Quilter wrote: beware about the classes. I got screwed. Signed up for the first, one Sat a few weeks away. A few days before that date they called me at home, told me the woman that had sold me the machine was new and had made a mistake and there were actually no classes offered on weekends, which basically meant no classes at all for me.. ( RBell wrote: Thanks so much for info on machines. The store that sells Viking and Brother offer free lessons and tons of additional classes can be purchased for specialty interests. The Viking place always has a couple of women sewing on machines everytime I've been there. So, I guess I'll choose between Viking and Brother. I'm leaning toward Viking, any impute about machine quilting on these brands will be greatly appreciated. -- |
