instructions for a build your own dust collector
Just starting out and have added tapered spindles to a 6 inch bench
grinder. I would like to have a dust collector located to the back of the grinder/polisher. I did some searching but came up empty hande. Any info is appreciated. Thanks |

I did some searching but came up empty hande. Any info is appreciated. Thanks Hi JS, I built my own using a powerful but small filtered wet/dry Shop Vac. (because the wet-dry has good filtration and a well-sealed container). I built a dust hood and have the hose and end collector for the shop vac fastened to it in the appropriate place, covered by a double thickness of aluminum (not vinyl!) window screening to prevent the loss of small pieces. Works like a charm. Good luck! KG |
