Greetings,

My name is AJ. I specialize in collars, and other quality products of
fine metals & gems for alternative lifestyles. I have seen your request
for the creation of a medallion. Unfortunately, the graphic of the
medallion was not available. Setting various red stones is not an
issue. I would suggest standard sizes on the stones, for ease, and cost
issues, but custom or odd sizes are fine as well.
Once I have seen the image, I can give you a qoute for the medallions.
And work out other details. Photographs and references available upon
request.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Mistress AJ

Some clarification regarding this type of posting, and the original request.

1. Please think a moment before posting to this group. Does your message need to reach
a single person, or is it intended as a public message suited to a wider or unknown
audience.

This reply is intended for the original poster of the request. As such, the proper way
to reply to that request would have been through direct email to that person, rather
than a newsgroup reply post. Email is more reliable at reaching specific individuals,
since people are more likely to check their own email than to check back in a newsgroup
hoping for a reply. If it is impossible to reply with a direct email, such as when a
poster has not included a valid email address in their original posting, then of course
the newsgroup is an appropriate place. As a favor, I've cc:d this reply to the original
poster. (SirLeonard, please reply to , not me, regarding the
medallion.

2. The graphic was not available in the original post since graphic attachments are not
allowed in this moderated newsgroup. It's both a technical issue and simply part of the
rules of the group specified in the group charter. The software I use to moderate the
group's posts does not gracefully handle attachments when i convert posts from incoming
email (that's how they reach me fro your news servers) back into approved outgoing news
posts. While I techically can get around this by manually re-editing and reconstructing
the posting, that turns approving and reposting a message from about a five second task
to a several minute one, and I generally prefer not to do it, especially since the
group charter (written and voted into existance by you readers, not me) specifically
prohibits binary attachments. Those of you wishing to post graphics as part of a
message should first put the graphic on the web, and then include only the URL to that
web page in your posting. Most ISP's include web space in your internet account that
can be used for this, or there are a number of web sites out there that specialize in
image hosting.
http://www.imageshack.ws is one such service that is free, and seems to
work fairly well.

Hope this helps.
