Default [Feedback request] Rowan's Cabinet Handmade Jewelry

I have just started a new business selling my bead and gemstone
jewelry. I welcome any feedback about the website or jewelry designs.
It is located at http://www.rowanscabinet.com

There are HTML issues, but going into those at length here might
drift too far off topic. Why don't you post the site over at=20
either alt.html.critique or at alt.html (but don't multipost to=20
both, please). Some of us will be happy to kick it around at=20
length.

The jewelry is not easy to distinguish from a thousand other=20
jewelers. Try to push yourself by investigating a wider range=20
of techniques.

I had a few problems with the web page and the jewelry. The photos
were out of focus and I would have like to have seen a close up of the
whole piece rather than just a small portion.
As far as the jewelry goes, I had a problem with the use of plated
jump rings on jewelry made from sterling and (assumed) real stones. I
don't understand the reasoning behind that.
My biggest issue was with the designs. It all looked alike. It was
kind of like one of those tourist trap photo cutouts with the hole
where the face is. Even with a changing face, it's still the same old
muscle head. If you're going to the expense and time of setting up a
web page, I would recommend branching out with your designs.
Considerably.

I love the natural theme of the graphics - really pretty & works well with your designs. Liked that "rolling mouse over the picture thing" on the homepage...looks really professional.

I wouldn't put surgical steel hooks with sterling silver earrings as the 2 metals are of differing colour.

I don't know if I'd be advertising that I fix/repair items for free as it may put ideas in the mind of buyer that your creations may break.
