Default Girly quilt top finished.

I finished the "girly" quilt top this afternoon and I think it came
out fine. I am going to pin it up tomorrow and quilt it and it should
be done early next week and then I will post pictures. I used 2" for
the sashes and mitered the outside sash and I will miter the binding.
The binding is going to be the same dusty rose as the 3" blocks. That
makes the sewn parts 1"for the small sewn blocks, 2" for the sashes,
and 3" for the large solid blocks. A mathematical progression, maybe
it is "manly" after all. I think it will be "delicate", as my wife now
calls it. I think of it as the sort of thing you would find on a bed
in an English B & B, like the ones the we stayed at when we were last
over there. Maybe that is where I got the inspiration.

Good going! Eager to see photos, although I'll be gone all next week. Using
colors outside one's normal range is a mind-expander.
