Default GOOD SUNDAY

I see you, Mirjam. Have a great day. It's sunny here, and I played tennis
before breakfast (42 degrees F, brrr, but no wind). Maybe I will get an inch
or so of knitting done on a knee sock I'm working on. If I can sit still
that long...

Thanks, Bruce. However, it was a very unpleasant weekend!

Not very pleasant here either. Gales gusting to 60 mph with torrential
rain and temperatures of around 40F. A few ferry crossings and flights
to/from Kirkwall were cancelled on Friday but all appears to be back to
normal.

The forecast was for very high winds and torrential rain here.

It was a bit blowy on Fridy afternoon, since then it was sunny and dry
(still is) except for Saturday night when we had 1"+ of rain. The same
forecast said it would be bad weather all over the country - except in
northern Scotland.

Trouble is, they're not always wrong, as JKJ said.

Mary
