Bailey ceramics has a full set of service and operation manuals on thier
web site for your Kiln free for download. you will need: if you dont
have them now)

kiln sitter cones for 04 (greenware to bisque)

kiln furniture (stilts, risers and at least 3 shelves)
and saftey equiptment,
Fireproof apron,
elbow length welding gloves
Infrared Goggles
a good dust/chemical resperator mask preferable one that has the
cartridges, get a set of cartridges rated for lead paint.

(you dont know where this kiln has been, you have to assume thats it's
been firing leaded glaze, until proven otherwise.

and a good sized shop vac

a good location to fire it. (not indoors, unless you have a dedicated
studio and a very good vent) the location will need a Nema 50 -50amp
plug to plug the kiln into... you will need a electrician to set up the
plug if you dont have one alreadf--- the Nema 50 is not a 3 wire plug
like a dryer, its a 4 wire plug like a stove/range. (not a homeowener
project to install, if itas done wrong, you can burn your house down...
and while Im al for wood fired ceramics, thats giving a bit much for the
art...

if you have never fired yourself before- take a class at the local
college... there are a hundred and one things to watch when your
running a kiln and it just takes a little practice,

here's the location for the manuals:
