Well, if I can hang on until 2010 I might even get to Australia.
(although to the South of you from what I understand) The
orthodontists of the world are descending on Sydney for their next
meeting (like the one that starts this week in Paris.) They do the big
international conference only once every five years. Who knows what I
will be doing in 2010, however normally my DH is involved and I tend to
tag along. However, I am as lace-knitting impaired as anyone. I am
doing it with some lace weight silk/mohair at the moment and it is
driving me a little batty. Fortunately the pattern is relatively simple
and it is just for a scarf.

Judy, 2010 is really not that far away and presumably the conference will be
in Sydney and the air fares from Sydney to Coolangatta ( our local airport)
are not expensive so I will be waiting - and bring your lace knitting !1
