Default my first squishy in the new house!

Perfect scraps for my MQ! Thank you, you know who you are (and I will be
emailing you personally). But I just wanted to remind squishy senders to
keep at it (and no, this is not a not too subtle beg, you don't have to
send them to me, just send them to anybody! ). Although the QoS does
have my new addy.. )

It energized me about quilting, made me feel like organizing the
quilting room and making some progress in my currently on hold WIPs.

In the month before I moved I had to pack, and since then I can't in
good concience retreat to my studio to quilt when there are still boxes
to be opened, walls to be painted and furniture to be assembled!

Besides the fact that when we opened a box and found it to contain
quilting stuff (oh gosh, so many of them!) we just moved it to the
second quilting room to get it out of the way but that is about it!

Does our Sofi have an "I spy" quilt? She's about the right age. Mine to a
grand niece in Dallas just arrived and she is oh so tickled with it.
Apparently, riding facing backwards is a terrible bore and the "I spy" is
just the thing to relieve some of the humdrum. Sydney's is made of
hexagons (only because the hexes were something I needed to conquer) but
just fussy cut squares of very interesting things would do just as well. If
you need a few, we can help. Polly

she has one I made from a cheater panel (ugh, I NEVER use those!) that
my aunt bought for her with the idea of making her a quilt, which
quickly evolved into giving it to me so I could make her a quilt! it has
flannel in the back, and she keeps it at daycare...

there is a pic of it in my webshots baby quilts folder. I was going to
add a link to it but can't access it for some reason

YES! Thanks! Webshots was acting up of course now I want to make her
another one. I should post pics of her room somewhere, it is looking
great painted purplicious and with the butterfly quilt in the previous
pic and the one my mom embroidered who also happens to have a lot of
violet in it!
