Shops in Ft. Worth, TX

Hi, everyone,

I'm coming out of lurkerdom to ask for information about cross stitch shops
or crochet/knitting shops in the Ft. Worth, TX area. A friend and I will be
there next week for a distance learning conference, but we should have a
little bit of free time to do some shopping.

Hi, Gwen,

I just saw this message and hope it's not too late to help you out. I
have 3 favorite stores in the general Ft. Worth area. My closest store
is Cross Stitch Corner, located on Watauga Rd. just east of Denton Hwy
in north Ft. Worth. They are terrific ladies at this store!
Next closest and just up the road (around 10 minutes away) is Keepin U
In Stitches, located on, I believe, Taylor St. in Keller (also just off
Denton Hwy.) This store has a great fiber collection! Not as close
(to me, anyway, lol) but with a great assortment of charts is the
Stitch Niche, located at Bowen and Arkansas in west Arlington. All
three stores are easily accessible and all the shop owners are very
helpful.
