Kevin and I do this too. We're such homebodies in the sense that we're there
for each other, for cozy time, for talking and reading. We don't overextend
ourselves (because it would quickly kill me -- not him). It's just lovely!

We need distraction free time, all of us. For us, it used to be long
car rides, and now it's just hanging out in the den. My hands have
to be doing something all the time, like beading, but we can have
great talks about anything and everything.

The kitchen table is a perfect place as well. We usually update each
other on the things happening in our lives, and the things we want to
do/plan/people we are trying to help. The Princess Auctions, for
example, were a lunchtime conversation. When none member of our
family is passionate about a subject, the rest of us buy into it,
mostly out of love for the family member. it might not work with a
big fmaily, but there are only three of us, and we do take the time
and effort to support the other's ideas.

And for me and Pete too. It has been a wonderful benefit of Pete myofascial
syndrome and my Depression. Ugly wrapping, but a beautiful gift.
