Default Trying again...Tucson Quilt Show

I posted this (I thought) yesterday and it didn't show up. Trying again.

Sue and I spent four hours looking at the quilts and (of course) shopping at
the vendors. I must say that on the whole the quilts were not so impressive
as the ones we saw there last year, though there were several that were
absolute knockouts! I think my favorite moments came when we found
flaws--blunted points on triangles, piecing that was less than perfect,
things like that. Somehow it gives me hope that my quilts, too, might hang
in a show someday...

We found Cyndi just a little while before we left. She was tooling around
on a scooter and enjoying herself despite the pain in her hip. I can't say
for sure, but I think her shopping was just as successful as ours. I must
admit that I spent half of my January bonus!

The Tucson Quilter's Guild does a fine job of putting together a show every
year. We found plenty of hostesses who were ready to explain, direct, and
show the backs of quilts.

Now it's a whole year to wait for the next quilt show. Sigh.

I saw this message Carolyn
Perhaps you are not getting messages back as quickly as you expected. I
always have to wait for a couple of logons before I see my own messages.
