OT - t.v. trivia question

My curious mind wants to know.. what was the name of the series a few years
ago that was about a female country doctor? I can't remember for the life
of me. Please help me save my life!! lol

Only one I can think of was Dr.Quinn, Medicine Woman, but that was
quite a few years ago.

That was a really bizarre show. I mean, we did watch it, but sometimes
we got the impression
that Dr. Quinn was just a little ahead of her time. Did she and Sully
ever hook up??

Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman, with Jane Seymour?

Didn't weatch it but the first time we came to the US we stayed with
friends who then lived on the edge of Malibu State Park where it was
filmed and went to watch.

I particularly remember an older character in it who came to talk to all
the fans, and thinking what very fine false teeth he had. It was some
years later that I realised it was the 'Hollywood smile' and that they
were his own treated teeth! Sorry elderly gentleman!

Also the very strict looking lady in black driving a buggy who kept
blowing enormous bubbles with her bubblegum, and the 'hero' with a tin
of Coke in his coat tail packet. Oh yes, and the modern sign for the
Toilets just out of camera view.

They filmed MASH there too.

About a year later there was a comedy programme here where they did a
skit on Dr. Quinn, and I recognised all the characters!

16th January 1996 was when we saw the filming, and it had been running
long enough for fans. (I kept a diary of the visit).
