Pacific Northwest Quiltfest
Since someone mentioned the Seattle show, I thought I'd inquire about it
from the experts. I went to Houston last year & Paducah this year - I met someone who lives in Seattle at Paducah & she said it's not that great of a show! Could that be? I know it's every other year & I was thinking of going next year - if it's worthwhile. (And does anyknow if I need to start making reservations now?) Pauline |

She's obviously been to a different show than the one I go to each time it
appears: the PNW show has some of the most gorgeous quilts each time I've been there. It's juried, so it's not 10 quilts all done in the same workshop, plus it always has at least one [and I think usually 2] special exhibits. I've seen Welsh whole-cloth quilts; quilts from Australia, and a special art-quilt exhibit. I'm not usually all that overwhelmed by the vendors, [lots of the same-old stuff] but I do thoroughly enjoy the quilts. By all means go! -- Kim Graham http://members.shaw.ca/kigraham Nanaimo, BC, Canada THE WORD IN PATCHWORK "Pauline" wrote in message m...
