Are there any craft schools for this? The history behind body piercing
even is something that goes back a long time.

Just on the off chance that your post actually was a sincere question rather
than an attempt to promote those blog sites, one answer is that there are quite
a number of craft schools or art school jewelry programs that teach general
jewelry making skills. Making body jewelry falls within all of that. It might
be that one or another of those programs has a specific class addressing special
needs of that type of jewelry, but I doubt there are any actual schools set up
just for piercing jewelry. Although the needs of some piercing jewelry items
(in terms of types of metals or how they are prepared, hardened, etc.) may
differ from the requirements in making wedding rings, the skills and general
knowledge needed to make such things is the same. Keep in mind that some
piercing jewelry (pierced earrings) is already very much mainstream jewelry
making. If you are looking to learn the needed skills, search for local art
schools or craft centers, or the like, which may offer classes in jewelry
making. Your local library or books store will offer a wide array of books on
the craft of jewelry making as well.
