I just wanted to post something I've done for slippers. I've made the
2-needle mittens (on Lion Brand's website) but without the thumb, and
doubling the length of the cuff. They come out sort of like big socks
without turning a heel or using dp needles. They stay on pretty well
too!

I'm a newbie at reading patterns so for now I follow the patterns very
closely.

Re the slipper pattern that was posted here and that I knitted, there is
a small addition/correction that might be needed.
This does not change the pattern in any way. It just clarifies the
pattern.

On the portion of "Shape Toe:" It says:

Row 5: k1, k2 tog across,

The way I see it, and the way it worked out for me, the pattern worked
better when I wrote out Row 5:

k1, k 2 tog across, k1

It's the k1 in Row 5 that is missing in the pattern......

My second slipper is almost done.....s

Monica -- I used this pattern and knitted up a pair of slippers
this afternoon! I used only two strands with size 13 needles,
and they seem to have worked just fine. I'm thinking of making
some for my mom now.

LOL - great! That's what I like about 'em, they work up *really* fast.

You don't have a photo of these

Well, *I* don't have a photo g, but the person who designed the Comfy
Slippers does have a pic on the same page where you can find the pattern:

http://www.white-works.com/slippers.htm

If you got mixed up and are asking about any other slipper patterns mentioned
in this thread, sorry - those links weren't from me, no idea!
