Emrerald Cut

I finally found an emerald simulant I really like and cut my first stone
with it. Yag is the stuff. The color is beautiful and the RI produces a
nearly windowless stone.

All my emerald cuts to date have been mounted in EasyMount settings which
never seem to fit right.

I would like to put one in one of my rings but I am sort of at a loss for
ideas on how to do it.

Drill a hole, square it up and use wire prongs is about all that occurs to
me. I have a vague idea of the channel set but am not sure how that works
in a ring.

Any ideas or pics would would be appreciated.
