Default solved tumbler problem

Earlier this afternoon I posted a question about EQ5. I do not see the
posting so it might be lost in "never never land". Just wanted you to
know that I have solved my problem. Hope this posting comes through
before anyone has spent time trying to solve my problem.

Swamp my mind? Yes. That's probably what happened. And you should just
SEE this new keyboard. It probably can launch satellites and re-route the
Interstate highway in Nebraska. Just never saw anything like it. In very
simple terms, would somebody please explain what a tumbler pattern is?

It looks like a bunch of drinking glasses (tumblers) in your kitchen
cabinet. One row is sitting on the bottom and the next row is sitting on
the part you drink from.

Scroll down the page on the right-hand side.

Not to be confused with the thousand pyramids.

Scroll down and this one's on the left.

I'd also like to know how you solved it, Susan! I had no idea what to
tell you to do. G

Default solved tumbler problem

Discovered that the custom design has two different types. The one I
wanted is called custom glide. I needed the top to be 1.50. Could only
get it to be 1.49 but that was close enough. I have heard from others
that the EQ6 solves several of these problems but I know I don't have
time to learn to use the new system.

I spent the afternoon at the store cutting most of the scrap fabric in
the waste box into tumblers. By using the EQ layout I figured that I
needed at least 400 tumblers for a throw with borders. Was able to
make 6 complete quilt kits cutting two pieces each of 200 fabrics.
Also cut extras so on Friday I will put several more kits together.
Those kits might have more than 2 of any one fabric but there will
still be lots of variety.

To cut the kits we use an Accu Cut die cutting machine. I was cutting
eight layers of fabric at a time. The die has eight tumblers but one
width of fabric folded in half only covers seven of the dies.
Occassionally that seventh piece isn't large enough so I will have to
count and add extras to the seventh set. If you would like to learn
more about the die cutting system check their web site www.accucut.com
