a new start
A new start in a couple of ways...
DH and I have lost our jobs, so are re-tooling resumes, making new contacts, etc. But also it's given me a bit of energy for unfinished business in other aspects of my life - we cleaned out a hall closet last week, progressing on another home improvement, and today I took out a UFO that requires stitching over one on 36 ct. linen. I'd stashed it away at the end of last summer, and now have vowed to sit in the sun for at least 1/2 hour per day until I finish this **&&%%#@# over-one lettering (in Italian, of all things). (I've also just started an Italian aria in my voice lessons, so doing the full-immersion route, LOL!) Feeling like time in the future will be more limited, less flexible, so I'd best get *something* done even as I'm job-searching. sue -- Susan Hartman |
