Kate,
It sounds to me like you've got plenty to do to keep you busy right now. But you'll get a moment to work on your quilts sooner or later. In the meantime, thanks for keeping us updated on the progress of the wedding attire! -- Louise in Iowa nieland4 at mchsi dot com "Kate Dicey" wrote in message ... That's so nice to hear! It was a fun one to do -- even if it did take five
years! I started it in the fall of 1997 and finished it on New Year's Day 2001. We gave it to Dad as a combination Christmas and birthday present, and then when Dad passed away, it came back home. It holds a special place because it was his. -- Louise in Iowa nieland4 at mchsi dot com "dogmom" wrote in message ... Thanks for posting them! I've wanted to do a leaf quilt sometime and seeing yours sure reinforces that desire. Gorgeous! Dogmom "Louise" wrote in message news:QbhOb.87223$8H.130634@attbi_s03... Naturally, the one I admire the most is the rose quilt -- I can't do appliqué to save my life, so I love looking at everyone else's. And your hand quilting -- not just on that quilt -- is just lovely. Thanks for sharing. -- Sandy in Henderson, near Las Vegas my ISP is earthlink.net -- put s-foster@ in front http://home.earthlink.net/~s-foster |

Your quilts are beautiful Louise. You should really be proud
of the wonderful work you do. I have an afghan to match that TATW from about the same time that an aunt made! Thanks for the compliments Sandy. I found that I do love applique -- as long
as the pieces aren't too small! It's a good take-along project, because I prefer doing it by hand, whereas when I'm doing patchwork, the machine is my best friend! -- Louise in Iowa nieland4 at mchsi dot com "Sandy Foster" wrote in message ... Taria,
You reminded me of an afghan that I have stashed away somewhere -- yep, it came from that time period and the colors are very similar. I had forgotten all about it. In my case, my mother made it for me. -- Louise in Iowa nieland4 at mchsi dot com "Taria" wrote in message ... Your quilts are beautiful Louise.
