Default OT Walnut Trees Was:Peonies,

According to my book, Black Walnuts only grow in Southern Ontario. HTH.
*Only* in Ontario? Then the squirrel that planted the seed which grew
into the black walnut tree in my mother's front lawn in North Dakota

must have had *quite* the trip!!! ;-)

Not as long a trip as the one that planted my grandmother's black walnut tree
in Hamilton County, Florida!

I spent a few days in town, and left the computer at the cottage, so
this is a little late. I knew Mavia lived in Canada, and omitted to add
that *in Canada* black walnut trees only grow in southern Ontario. Sorry
about that.
