Default math ?

Okay, I need to make 3 inch finished Friendship stars. What would the
measurements for the HST be? The brain wouldn't work right this a.m. LOL

My instructions say:

1 inch finished, so the squares would be 1 7/8 inches, draw the diagonal
line, sew 1/4 inch on each side of the drawn line. Press. Cut on the drawn
line. Press open.

1.75 inch blocks, sewn on diagonal the cut

Larisa, wondering where the heck that came from as my brain has turned
into plumbers putty, which I should have had earlier tonight sigh

Toni: Since different patterns can have same
name, it may help if you post a picture of
the Friendship Star you want to make.
