She is precious. She is very long and thin I'll bet. My DS (31 now) was
6lb 6oz and 20.5in long. He looked like a scrawny chicken for a few weeks.
He was born on June 6th the same year The Omen came out. People told us we
should have named him Damien, we opted for Joshua David instead.

I taught my first class at the Country Sampler Quilt Shop (Papillion

By the time the ladies left, I felt they were all punching confidently.
I do love teaching. And punchneedle embroidery is a neat, quick and
satisfying old/new needlework skill.

And drumroll I am a new Grandma!

Liem Charlotte was born on Saturday afternoon. She weighed 6 lb 4 oz
and was almost 20 inches long. Her big brother Talley (age 3) is very
excited, jealous, confused and exuberantly loving. (Liem is her
maternal grandmother's name; Charlotte is her paternal paternal
Great-Grandmother.)

I've been waiting a long time to have a baby girl in the family.
There's enough pink fabric in my sewing room to cover the county! Now
I just need the time to get started on a pink quilt. :

Double congratulations, Joan! What great news! g Successfully teaching
a class is a wonderful accomplishment -- almost as nice as the new baby!

Yes, I'm doing needlepunch. It is great fun, isn't it? And the big
difference between 'then' and 'now' is the quality of the designs
available. It's like popcorn though. You can't stop with just one!
