The cervical surgery appears to be successful and the doctor is confident that Ellie will carry the baby thru week 35 if all goes as it has been. She is still on modified activity but they are no longer talking in terms of bed rest. The new due date is October 2. She will see the specialist every other week from now on but we are feeling much better about the prospects. She, of course, is thrilled and thankful for all of your prayers. Thank you so much for being there for my family.
