Balanced Spectrum light vs Ott light
Decided I might get more input if I reposted this with it's own subject!
Has anyone bought the Balanced Specturm lamp? They advertise in our Sunday news magazine (USA Weekend) all the time & the lamp is considerably cheaper than the Ott lights. The ad says the company is firstSTREET (formerly TechnoScout) in Colonial Heights, VA. The price is $49 and has dual light levels (27 and 18 watts - comparable to 100 and 150 watt). If they're any good, I would love to order one. -- Donna Aten, Coordinator Project Linus - Boise/SW Idaho Chapter Website: www.LinusIdaho.org |

I bought one for my dh. It came with a small desk lamp and a floor lamp with
a shaded bulb. They both work just as well as any Ott-light that I own and I have 3 plus a few Ott-light bulbs that are in standard lamps. I thought it was a good deal too! Laurie G. Sounds like a good deal. I think probably Ott is charging for their name as
much as anything! -- Donna Aten, Coordinator Project Linus - Boise/SW Idaho Chapter Website: www.LinusIdaho.org "Laurie G." wrote in message m... I bought one for my dh. I have no experience with them but could you contact the company and see if
they're sold anywhere near you? That way you could see for yourself if buying one would in fact be a bright idea! ( altho' clearly it is to some extent--less $ for lamp = more $ for fabric...)
