Default Happy Dance Chorus Line

Today is my DGD's birthday. She turned three and I presented her with her
full size quilt - flower fairy fabric (say THAT 3 times fast) with pinks,
blues, lavenders and creams. She opened it up and said "Oh, Nana". That's
all she said. The look on her face was wonderful. She started to jump up
and down and hug it and then ran to me to hug me. I just left her snuggled
in her bed (which is still crib size since her big girl bed hasn't come yet)
with a nest made of her new quilt. And as she went to sleep she said "Nana,
it's so comfortable." Now what more could a Nana want? Am I not a lucky
woman?

Next time someone asks "Why make quilts when you can buy
blankets?" I will forward your charming tale.

Chorus line, Nana? Chorus Line? Mercy. I haven't been up to kicking in
fifty years . . . but for this special occasion, I'll have to join in. Do we
have to turn around, flip up our skirts and show our fannys? Well, I'm game
if the rest of you are. Tah-rah-rah-boom-de-ay! Yes! Dancing with you.
This is the best reason to quilt. How very wonderful. Slide my walker over
here, will you? Polly

You are extremely lucky! I hope one day I'll be as lucky as you. Almost
makes the rest of the world disappear.

Howdy!
Do we have to turn around, flip up our skirts and show our fannys?

Like that would be anything new for you, Polly. *snicker*
