Default sewing room "messy disease"

I have a suggestion for all those who have a messy sewing room that
they can't manage to completely clean up. Get a puppy and put her cage
and food dishes in the sewing room. The damage that she does will be a
HUGE motivation to PICK UP!!!!!

This week I can tell you both it is cheaper to hire help
than to have the dog on duty in some cases.

Taria, having sat here for 2 weeks with a recovering pup
have confirmed I am crazy (but you all knew that)

Hey Musicmaker,

I can't do that as my "pup" (not quite 2 yet) has been forever banned
from my sewing room. As a young pup he would get into literally
everything. But then, at the age of 6 months I let him inside from
outside. He then charged through the gate at the top of the stairs,
through the gate into the sewing room, looked me square in the eye and
lifted his leg on a quilt that was in process. It was a Christmas
present for a niece. If DH hadn't been home, I think I would have
neutered him right there, myself!

Now he sits outside the gate and whines at me.

Aahhhhh... the joys of having a puppy own you! LOL That's part of
the reason I have a passion for rescuing young adult dogs. They are
past all that scary puppy stuff! I'm so glad you have this new baby to
snuggle and love you.

Today is stitch day. There is only one left. She seems
to be feeling a lot better and the incision is well.
The whole thing is nuts. I can't believe how crazy it
is. She better have a lot of good years in her when we
get through this. 4 more weeks in her crate and then we
give ourselves a break and do it again.

I am glad Musicmaker's pup is keeping her in line. That is
one big puppy and I bet she can eat a lot of 'stuff' before
she gets tired! May her knees bend well and her hip joints
be good : )

Just marked it as "his" like any good QI would do. All 8 of mine come and
go in the sewing room. So far so good.

Taria - I'vm discovering that my knees do indeed bend weller than I
expected, and I actually have been running with her outside! Inside we
play a lot and she's all over me - I feel like another puppy sometimes!
