Default converting knitting pattern to crochet

Hi gang, I'm embarking on a big project that I need your help with and
will result in a couple of postings!

I found some really nummy knit patterns but I prefer crochet. I want
to convert the pattern to crochet and I know this is something you can
do. I have a book that gives the crochet stitch to match each knit
stitch.

I'm want to do a pretty easy Rowan pattern of a coat length cardigan.
It is very straight forward with no collar, hem, etc. It uses a
stocking stitch. My crochet guage matches the knit gauge perfectly.

Advice, suggestions, guidance?

Thanks,

Laurie

Laurie,
I have never tried this so I can be of no help. Just wanted to wish you
luck and tell you that I would like to see a picture when you have finished.
Remember that crocheting uses more yarn and normally makes a stiffer fabric.

Laurie,

I have never done that, but wishing you great success. Keep us posted.
