Default Pottery & Porcelain 1900 signed ,sevres minton majolica

Pottery & Porcelain A Guide to Collectors by Patrick Litchfield ,VGC.
Containing 150 Illustrations or Specimens of Various Factories,7
Coloured Plates,& Marks & Monograms of all the Important Makers. 10 1/2
inches by 7 approx. Hand signed by author and dedicated to his late
brother John,1900.Georgeous gilt decorated & bevelled boards.Covers all
the top makers,Sevres,Dresden ,Chelsea & Bow,Adams,Leeds, Abruzzi
Ware,Burslem etc etc and also contains chapters on forming a
collection,,hints & cautions etc.
Make no mistake this is not a run of the mill pottery book.It is a
large format and lavish item ,with masses of information on fine china,
makers & their wares & marks and a very hard to find item, especially
signed. Litchfield was a well known top flight dealer, and ran the
Sinclair Galleries in the Shaftesbury Avenue in London's west end in
the Victorian era.
