Hi Stella

Not Nora, but peeked at it anyway

I'm now DROOLING over the price on the Bernat Lana....it's $6+ a BALL
here, and your flyer shows it at $6 for 6 balls, plus buy three get one
free!

There didn't seem to be much else I'd jump at, though, because my stash
is full of acrylics/blends right now but woefully low on wool.

So where is this sale happening? Not that there's much chance of me
leaving my island, mind you!

Replying to myself...you've got to be kidding me, those are Canadian
prices! I saw the Canada Post on the label and had to blink a couple
of times. Someone's going to get a good deal on the Lana.

Hi Michelle

Yes these are Canadian prices which are nice for a change. I know
about the difference in prices and you now know why I make the effort
to go when I can.

Here is the deal that DH made with me on July 4th.
Any yarn used prior to a month before the sale counted as 100%
Any part balls of yarn 100% of total weight of the original ball
Any yarn currently on a project but finished after a month before the
sale counted as 150%
Any yarn used from July 14th through to when we go and not a part
ball or attached to a project on July 14th counts as 200% of weight.

I think you can guess that I have been very busy using yarn and
currently can purchase about 3,500 grams and we aren't going until
around the 19th of August so still have lots of time. Yes I am
currently making lots of granny squares and will be putting them
together for afghans after we go to the sale.
