Hi Katherine,

Gee, I feel better knowing I wasn't the only foolish persn out there.

How about some puzzle glue to keep the pieces together, then you could frame it
for her.

Hugs,

Nora

I suggested that, too, but she wants to be able to take them apart
eventually. Seven-year-olds have minds of their own! LOL

Is it a standard frame size? If so you could get a thrift shop frame with a
nice thick double mat, so you know it's deep enough. Then take out the
mats, leaving just the glass or plastic and the backing board to keep the
puzzle intact as sandwiched layer in between.

I'm not sure if I totally understand this thread, so forgive me if this does
not apply...

My Mom loves to do puzzles. We bought a cork board and she does her puzzles
on this on the table. Then if we need to move it, we can.

Katherine,

Get Kandance a piece of green felt to put her puzzles on, then you can

roll it
up and remove it from the table. You can buy them from craft catalogs, and

like
a fool I did, only to find out they were green felt. Much cheaper at a

fabric
store and it does work.

Hugs,

Nora

My mother used to set up a card table so that her puzzles did not have to be
moved. THe problem is that Kandace WANTS them on the coffee table. However,
she is only seven, and will no doubt move on to something else in a little
while.
The cork board suggestion sounds good, too.

Ranee,

I am going to sew a "3-piece suit" for my Project. Skirt, Trousers and
Jacket.
First part will be the trousers - my first attempt at "material" work.
All by the end of the year, and if I'm a really good girl, I'll even knit
some tops to go with it!!

Sure thing! If you want me to add it to the list, just let me know
which project you decide on.

Regards,
Ranee

Hi Norma,

DH and I love to do puzzles in the winter, in fact we both have out own card
table that we sit up in the family room. Bought four more at the dollar store
the other day, now to find time to work on one.

Hugs,

Nora

I also love jigsaw puzzles. But I just don't have the time to work on them,
unless it is with Kandace on her little ones. SHe is up to the 100 piece
ones now, so it won't be much longer and she will be doing "real" ones. Oh,
my! g

Beware my favorite online time-waster (great for when you're stuck on hold,
though!)

www.jigzone.com

New puzzles every day and a huge library of other images.

Karen,

You are bad, now I've gone and saved the site to do a puzzle sometime.

Hugs,

Nora
