Default Walking Foot To Give Away "long".

Hi you all.
Last year I bought a walking foot for my Kenmore Elite and took
sick before trying it. So a long time after being well enough I tried
the walking foot and to my horror it didn't fit, I know I had the right
catalogue number, but I misplaced the proof of purchase and can't send
it back. So instead of keeping it and not use it I thought of giving it
away to someone who could.
The article number is:
20 97700 US
20 96730 CAN
There is another number at the bottom of the box which is:
(214872011)
Why you may ask am I giving it to someone on this ng instead
of a local quilter?
It's very simple, it's because I've known all of you for a long time and
the most important is I learned more here than any classes or books
could teach me about quilting and enjoy your kindness toward each other,
your knowledge, your (savoir faire) (I'm a French speaking Canadian and
I run out of English words sometimes) especially you are not prejudice
toward anyone and don't judge anyone. I like to pray, cry, laugh and
"sympatise" (is this English or French?) with you all. I don't post
often because I'm not good on the keyboard this has taken me a long time
to do with one finger.
To contact me,--maribord at webtv dot net-- if you need more
information. Hope to hear from you soon.
Dixie.

When I give to you something I made with my hands I share my heart.

I don't need the foot, but I was thinking along similar lines the
other day. I have received so much help, and made so many friends
here. I love reading about all the different parts of the world
people come from, and I really enjoy checking in with you all when I
get a moment in my busy schedule. It is comforting to know that, even
when I am in Siberia this coming year and up to my eyeballs in work,
that I can check into the newsgroup when I can get on the internet and
see how you all are doing.
Thank you for all your kindness and help. Be good to each other.

Yours,
