Default applause for Rowenta

Well, just fancy this! I shipped my Rowenta to the repair place listed in
my iron's manual. I told them it was 17 months old. I asked for an estimate
on what it would cost to repair.
After about 3 weeks, my iron has been returned. No bill, no suicide
note, no demand for me to go away and never come back. The iron is as great
as new - except for a teeny stain where I had been pouring in filtered swamp
well water.
I don't know if they can or will repair a Rowenta that has been bounced
off an ironing board by a QI dreaming of a gold medal in the Olympics; mine
was simply, seriously clogged. Oh my, isn't this wonderful? Polly

Find another place to iron. Leave that sweet kitty's ironing board alone. I
don't know if they accept payment with mice; to my great surprise, they
didn't charge me anything. Polly

Thank you Polly I will try this. By the way my QI will have to pay for

the
repair out of her allowance. LOL

Polly,
I take full responsiblilty for this. I made the mistake of putting
the ironing board in front of a wonderful view of the garden. Usually I
iron in my sewng room but workers were redoing the shower tile and the noise
was awful. What can I say, I know my place!!
