Default where to find ( at a good price) ...

I have one triangle ruler - don't remember why I bought it (early on in
the journey!) and hardly ever use it. I'm sure I haven't used it this
year at all, for instance.
I absolutely agree with Leslie. Once in a while something turns up
which is really useful and helpful; but on the whole, just about
anything can be managed with a straight rule and the lines on the
cutting boards + perhaps some geometrical instruments?

way to make the blocks without those rulers?

sorry I things got really crazy here, lots of stuff going on and so fast..
( will post about it) give me a few days so we can catch our breath here
and I should be ready to try this.

Okay, then draw it out as I described and make the templates! Still
simple as can be. Do you know how to strip piece for the trunks? If
not, then it's time to learn- so much simpler than cutting all those
squares and rectangles and sewing them together!
