it could be liquid polymer clay with inclusions or even mylar stretched
over a wire frame.

Celophane heated/melted over wire armature.

Would anyone know how to construct these types of wings?

They appear as if they are made of glue, am I correct?

Thanks for putting in that link. Very pretty. I wonder if the artist
used to do 2D art, as the pose and shape are very much like a piece of
art I saw somewhere back in the 80s of a gauze winged fairy caught in
syrup.

i've seen in some italian magazine some sort of polymer which they call
resiflor, it is like a liquid, and it is perfect for wings or petals, it
comes in lot of colors and i believe dries in the air, and with it you
can make wings like this, just make a wire silhouette, and dip it in
that liquid and it stays on wire like soapfoam (if you know what i
mean). i just found, product is resiflor di hobbyland, made by hobbyland

Wow! Ending bid was $850 for this doll ... simply elegant and beautiful.
Do you make dolls like this one? What is your basic doll? Do you mold the
doll from unfinished (?) porcelain?
