Default Border help, please

I would sew them together at an angle if you have enough fabric. Helps to
hide the seam.

I just finished a 9-patch and 1/2 square triangle top and it came out
pretty. I now need to make borders, but don't have long lengths of
material to use, so I have to piece it.

The border will be about 3 inches wide of a very busy small floral
print. Should I sew the pieces together straight or should I sew them
at an angle, the way you would the binding?

Denise
