ROFL! Well, it's no longer empty. It now has four ugly beads in it.
LOL! I was working with a new reduciton glass last night and could NOT
get it to reduce to the brilliant gold that it was supposed to. Poop.

Oh, and I did a darling little knob for the drawer on the mahogany
watch case that I'll be using to tote my stuff to the gallery on the
23d.

I've been scoping out light industrial workspaces to lease, so I
slacked off on the torch for a few hours. *hanging head* I am SO sorry
and ashamed.

Heheheheheh!

That is my current problem... sheesh

like clockwork every darn night!!!!

I haven't tried it yet, but my doc recommended soy milk before bed.
What seems to work for me is keeping a fan, low setting, blowing
directly across the bed.

also - weirdly - I noted that anytime I have a hot flash - I also get an asthma
flareup....

Would moving air affect your asthma?

Cheers,
Carla

I tried that one night-- didn't help much - I just got chilled when I wasn't
"hot"
LOL

I've been trying to eat more soy from several sources... but I don't think it's
helping. Maybe I should try one of those natural soy products they are
advertising.
.....
I'm having a few during the daytime too - but the ones at night just really get
me...

A friend of ours has a nutrition degree and has worked in natural foods
for years. She gave us the downside to the praises of soy. Its is
helpful in small doses, however it is actually harmful to women's
hormones in larger doses. She seemed pretty upset about how its being
pushed. I don't eat soy because I'm allergic to it anyway, so I don't
remember all the details.
I personally am against it because it is a top allergen that is being
over-pushed as healthy. I've heard a lot about using soy milk in
schools, and it makes me so mad! Some parents want peanuts out because
they are an allergen, but soy is just as bad. I can't help but notice
that a lot of the soy campaigns are supported by soy growers.
Hmm... have a unlikeable product that is cheap and grows fast and also
happens to be a deadly allergen... promote the heck out of it. Its all
about propaganda.
Its like the DeBeers monopoly for food.

I've never heard this - and find it somewhat amazing - Japanese have eaten soy
protein for a long time
(i.e. tofu...) - I've never heard of anyone allergic to soy.... ever...

Is that related to soy beans themselves or "refined" soy bean products?

Hey, but if i turn to stone, someone can take chips off me, drill holes and make
beads. Not a bad thought, really.

I was reading about that. It's dangerous -- it mimics estrogen or something
like that. It can be encouraging to cancers, etc. Especially female-type
cancers. shudder
