Clip Art
I woke up later than usual this morning (due to the finally comfy cool
weather we are getting here in central Tx and I just wanted to sleep in a while longer!). Anyway, I happened to tune in on PBS to the Sewing With Nancy Show but only caught about the last 10 min. Anyway...here's my question... Nancy suggested that some good free-motion quilting templates for use with freezer paper might could be found by exploring "Clip Art" on the internet, and what they have. Well, I don't know what "clip art" is.... does anyone know of any good sites? In her example on the show she had muical notes that one "stippled around", and then the templates could of course be peeled off and used again in another area for more stippling round it. To find out more about "clip art" do I just type those words in in search? Ann |

Ann,
There are tons of clip art sites on the internet. When you do a search, make sure you type in "Free Clip Art" because some of the sites out there charge. Also, if you want the musical notes, or whatever, autumn leaves, etc, type in "Free Musical Clip Art". Otherwise, you'll be searching for days. If you're intersted in actual hard copies, Dover Publishing has about a gazillion clip art books if you're looking for something very specific - I have about 10, and they are copyright free. I'm sure you could find them on Amazon or at your friendly local book store. Patti in Seattle "forgiveness is the fragrance the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it" =AD=ADmark twain=AD=AD |

Got a laugh when I came here and saw your post. I was just at
http://office.microsoft.com/clipart/....aspx?lc=en-us looking at clip art for free motion quilting patterns. I am doing a class on holiday placemats and was looking at those kind of things. MSN office is my favorite site for clip art. It's free, it downloads into clip art with my Windows software. Happy hunting.
