Default the new Embellisher from Baby lock

I saw this
http://www.babylock.com/sewing-embro...=EMB7#features
demonstrated at a local store and even got to play with it myself. WOW!!! I
am in love!!! Has anyone in this group bought one? What did you think? I
think I'd better be very good this year so Jultomte (Swedish Santa) might,
possibly consider getting me one for Yule. :-)

Wow--how wierd is that? Says it doesn't use any thread; the multiple
needles 'mesh' or 'felt' the fabrics together. From the looks of it,
needle removal/replacement would let the operator test her stash of
four-letter words, to be sure they were all still viable.
I sure do miss going to trade shows. Used to see all the latest and
greatest. I still think I'd love that long-arm quilting/embroidery
machine which the operator manipulated like a stylus. I'd be putting my
opinion on everything. How fortunate for the world at large that I
didn't get one...

I know a couple of gals who just had to have one.
One seems to like it the other knows it was a
mistake to buy. The needles are expensive and the
uses are really limited. It is pretty weird IMO.

Wow, how weird! I couldn't really understand what its purpose was so I
guess I won't be needing one. But the Embroidery Professional machine on the
same website lookes awesome!

Basically, it does needle felting. A quick Google around should give you
a bit more info on that - it's easy enough to do by hand using special
barbed needles.

The technical term is "entanglement", which I love. It sounds like
romantic intrigue amongst the fibers. LOL
