LN, I'm curious... has your begging ever resulted in anyone
sending you a quilt?

Mine say I have a quiet, sober, self-effacing side (my blue lap quilt)
and a wild, mad, colourful, LOUD side - the electric leftovers quilt.
Could be true... At the moment, the mad side is up!

Listen to it them more closely ... I think I hear one saying that you can
make more complicated ones but not yet, not unless you dont mind finding
your perfectly cut pieces being used to wash a teddy bear. :-)

The ones you make with lots of different fabrics tell me you throw a great
party. Diversity and good canapes make for great quilts.

Hmmm...Well, the things I get to make for pleasure, not for shop samples

and
such, would say I'm a lover of fabric, pretty as well as homely. I love to
put as many fabrics into a quilt as possible.

The crazy quilts would say I really love girlie-girl stuff, even though I
dress rather plainly, without ruffles and fluff.

What do my quilts day about my personality?

Well, on the surface they say I like squares, I like simple shapes, I
really like fabric, and I really like color. On the next level, they
say I am rooted in tradition, although my style is unique. They say I
don't follow trends. They also say I have cats...

I hear ya. It takes time to find your niches and fortes. Just getting in
there and cutting and sewing fabrics is enough in the beginning. Ill ask
again next year. Lets see if any trends have emerge by then.

Hmmm... mine used to say that about me. I set them straight. I said... I am
meticulous about the color and design and wish to give you all the thought
you are due, and I *wont* be pressured into finishing you until I find the
right companions for you. That made them stop and think a bit!
