Hi there, we just had that storm go through Friday night Saturday morning.
We ended up with about 6 inches that time but in total for this year we have
about 3 feet in the low spots from the drifts. Our snow banks from the plow
in the driveway are about 7 ft.high. We're getting more this morning and
tomorrow apparently. It's going to be a lonnnggg time before we'll see lawn
this year :-)

Well, I got up this morning to let out my Westie pups who measure 15". I
opened the door to the deck to 16" of snow! Plus they are white pups!
Well, I did the only smart thing to do in a case like this - I woke up my
DH
to shovel the deck!

So, we have about 16" on the ground and the snow is still coming down.
They
are predicting 18" before all is said and done. So far, I reorganized two
closets and cleaned out my linen closet (I'm really anal when it comes to
how my towels are folded and arranged) and organized our knitting yarns
and
books (DD wants to learn to knit). Today, I want to finish putting away
the
Christmas decorations (hubby resists taking everything down too early in
January) and then maybe, perhaps, I can cut the fabric for my DGS next
quilt!

How much snow is on the ground where you are and how cold (hot) is it?

Lumberton, NJ 16" 17 degrees.

I don't miss the snow at all since our move to Oregon. When we do get snow
now, it's a treat and rarely lasts more than a couple days. I woke up to a
beautiful sunrise and 42F outside. I worked until after 1 a.m. on this
mystery quilt that is suppose to be finished Feb 15. I'm on the final
clue--joining blocks and adding border. Maybe I'll get it sandwiched today.

We've got over a foot. Sweetie already shovled a dog run. It's above
freezing at least. Not sure which is worse- lot of snow, or too d cold
to snow. He didn't complaint about the shovling- it was all light
powder- just lots of it.

I can't quilt- I have to work. One of the joys of working from home- as
long as I have internet access, I have work to do. Plus, since some of
the company still doesn't work from home and cannot get it, I gots extra
to do.

Someone send me a vest- I'm cold, and I'm too busy to make one for me. lol.

Here in the Valley of the Sun there is no snow on the ground, and temps
are in the mid 70s. Yesterday I turned the AC on in the car for a bit.

We've got about a foot on the ground now. Shoveled yesterday and it
was nice and light (so light that it blew back at us occasionally),.
It's 9 degrees now. Our dogs are all taller than the snow and brown so
no trouble there. They love playing in it! Today it is sunny and just
gorgeous.

And here we're in the high 60's with lots of sun. Gorgeous!

We woke this morning to very thick fog, and damp ground. Yesterday it
was very cool for this time of year daytime temps (about 45 degrees),
and threatened to rain. this comes after record setting high temps on
Tues/Wed of 85 degrees. Predicting rain for this coming Wed, which is
making a lot of people nervous. the last rain spell two weeks ago
dropped between 15-28" of rain in 10 days.

I live in very FLAT country & whipping winds have been creative in our area.
We have no little or no snow in some areas, with drifts about 4 ft high in
others. The wind chill this am was -15°. I'll just stay inside & sew!!

Poor pup. Wish you all could be here. It is about 78' at 11 a.m.
The sun is shining bright and it is dry and clear out. Not only that
I have several daffodils that are blooming. The down side is the
weather so nice I'm sore from all the yard work yesterday and probably
have a good days worth tomorrow ahead of me.
Snow? What's snow? BG
